Masooma Rizvi, a staff reporter at The Pioneer, began studying for a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering while living overseas before relocating to the United States. Once she secures her associate’s degree from OCCC, she plans to transfer to the University of Oklahoma so that she can complete her bachelor’s degree and ultimately begin working as a professional petroleum engineer.
